External ranking signal
U.S. News Information Systems specialty (April 2026): #101. This ranking applies to FAU’s College of Business; the MSITM is jointly delivered with Engineering and Computer Science, so MSITM.com treats the number as a closely related school-level signal rather than a standalone degree rank. See the full crosswalk.
Career evidence
FAU publishes career-role examples for MSITM graduates and uses BLS wage/opening data for computer and information-systems managers as labor-market context. The current program pages do not publish an MSITM-specific graduating-cohort placement rate or starting-salary statistic, so MSITM.com keeps the BLS figures separate from program outcomes.
Application deadlines & timing
FAU Executive Education does not publish one fixed application deadline for the Professional MSITM. It currently recommends applying by early July for fall, mid-November for spring and late April for summer. Spring 2027 start dates are January 9 online and January 11 on campus.

Preparation & prerequisites
FAU’s Professional MSITM accepts a bachelor’s degree in any discipline and requires no business prerequisite courses. The program generally looks for about a 3.0 GPA over the last 60 undergraduate credits and roughly four years of professional work experience. Qualified applicants do not need GMAT/GRE scores. The traditional MSITM path is different and may require foundation courses, so delivery path matters when comparing preparation requirements.
