Estimate the Financial Tradeoff of an MSITM / MSIS Degree
This calculator combines tuition, other costs and foregone earnings, then compares that estimated investment with your expected salary increase. It is a planning tool—not a promise of future earnings.
How to interpret the result
The calculation treats tuition, fees, incremental living costs and estimated foregone earnings as the investment. It then divides that investment by the annual salary increase to estimate a simple payback period. It does not model taxes, raises, investment returns, loan interest, bonuses, career risk or the nonfinancial value of the degree.

If your browser or privacy extension blocks the calculator script, use the same formula manually: total investment = tuition + fees + incremental living costs + estimated foregone earnings − aid; simple payback years = total investment ÷ annual salary increase.
