Career evidence
Fordham publishes current MSIT employer and alumni examples, including Accenture, Google, JPMorgan, Siemens and other organizations, plus role pathways spanning AI strategy, cloud, cybersecurity, data management and digital transformation. Fordham also publishes older school-wide specialty-master’s employment data, but the current MSIT pages do not provide a fresh MSIT-specific cohort placement rate or salary statistic. MSITM.com therefore treats the employer/alumni evidence as current and does not transfer broader specialty-master’s salary figures onto this degree.

Fall 2027 application deadlines
Fordham Gabelli’s on-campus MS programs list October 9, 2026 for Round 1, January 15, 2027 for Round 2, and March 19, 2027 for Round 3. Round 3 is the last listed deadline for international applicants needing visa sponsorship from abroad; a fourth round continues on a rolling basis for domestic and local international candidates.

Preparation & prerequisites
Fordham says applicants do not need a technology background for the MSIT, although basic awareness of how information systems support organizational processes and strategy is helpful. Students from non-business undergraduate majors complete a self-study module on IT and business, and some analytics electives assume basic statistics. This makes Fordham comparatively accessible to career changers while still leading into coding, data, cybersecurity and AI coursework.
