Career outcomes
Oklahoma State’s Spears accreditation page reports that, for 2023 MS MIS graduates, 79% had employment, job offers or other plans within six months. Spears says post-graduation data was gathered for 81% of its 330 master’s graduates across programs that year. Because the 81% figure is school-wide rather than an MS MIS-specific knowledge rate, MSITM.com carries that scope caveat with the program result.

Preparation & prerequisites
Oklahoma State’s current MS MIS catalog does not list a separate set of pre-admission technical prerequisite courses. The 30-credit core itself includes Programming for Data Science and Analytics I, Scripting Essentials, predictive analytics and advanced data wrangling, so students enter a quantitatively and technically oriented curriculum even when prior coursework is not stated as a standalone admission requirement. MSITM.com therefore records the current catalog structure rather than inventing a prerequisite that OSU does not publish.
