Curriculum & AI
UConn combines predictive modeling, data management, statistics, decision modeling, data mining and project management. The program explicitly incorporates AI tools and technologies and lists hands-on use of Python, R, SQL, PyTorch, Keras, Hugging Face, Databricks, cloud platforms, ChatGPT and other GenAI tools.
Fit
This is an adjacent comparison rather than a traditional MSIS: it is strongest for students who want analytics and project-management depth with substantial AI exposure.

Career evidence
UConn reports a $125,000 highest reported salary for MS Business Analytics & Project Management graduates in 2024–25 and publishes leading employers on its careers page. Because this is a highest-reported figure—not a cohort mean or median—MSITM.com does not compare it directly with average starting salaries from other programs.
Application deadlines
UConn’s MSBAPM currently lists a December 16, 2026 deadline for Spring 2027. The same application schedule applies to the online and in-person MSBAPM. A Fall 2027 final deadline was not yet posted on the current program page when reviewed, so MSITM.com does not project one from the prior cycle.

Preparation & prerequisites
UConn requires MSBAPM applicants to have completed one semester of college-level calculus or statistics with a grade of C or better. GMAT/GRE scores are optional. This is a lighter formal technical prerequisite than many computing-oriented programs, but the curriculum itself quickly moves into statistics, predictive modeling, data management, programming and AI tools.
